This month, we're proud to feature an outstanding member of the American Legion Yacht Club (ALYC) community: Berkeley Green. As a well-established sailing instructor in Newport Beach, California, Berkeley has dedicated over 30 years to sharing his passion for sailing with others.
His impressive resume includes working with notable institutions and programs such as UC Irvine, Newport Sea Base, Orange Coast College, and Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, where he served as program director. Here at ALYC, Berkeley is a valuable asset as the head of our Youth Sailing Program, ensuring the next generation of sailors receives top-notch training in a safe and fun environment. His integrity and skills will ensure any of our kids will, members or not, will have fun learning to sail.

ALYC Dive Team Updates
Our dive team has been busy with travel, local clean-up efforts, and working with adaptive diving vets and of course their monthly meetings when we’re entertained by world class presenters from around the globe. Join them for good stories and world-class presenters - no dive experience required and there’s plenty of interesting events to snorkelers and surface explorers as well.
