Our February General Membership meeting is coming up on February 7 at 6:30PM.  We will be at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, 1601 Bayside Dr., Corona del Mar - again on their patio for the meeting.  The weather forecast at the moment looks good.  They will turn on the heaters for us, but please come prepared for some chilly temperatures if you are seated towards the outside.

SeaGals will meet at 6:00PM upstairs at BCYC in the board room.

Thursday is Prime Rib night, and BCYC has offered to include our club for dinner after our meeting.  Reservations are required, and you will be required to show a 2019 ALYC membership card.  Please call the club and make your reservation.  If wish to have dinner beforehand, the bar restaurant is open all afternoon.  BCYC will also have a bar set up for us on the patio starting at 5:30PM.

Our own Staff Commodore Neil Hardin will be our guest presenter, sharing his story from Captaining a vessel in the South Pacific last year.  Most of you know Neil and you know his story will make for a fun and memorable night.

We will also talk through an update on the issues with Post 291, but we hope to keep that to a minimum and just enjoy the night as a club.  Of course the board will be there to field any questions after the meeting as well.
