Skippers Meeting 

As certified skippers, we enjoy the free use of our two sailboats, Mystery I and Mystery II, but with that privilege comes certain obligations. Per our policy, you are required to attend an annual meeting of all designated skippers. 

In order to satisfy this annual requirement, we have scheduled two “face-to-face” meetings:

Thursday June 17th in the West Patio is the first meeting. Each meeting will be at 6:00 pm.  The length of the meetings will be two hours or less.

Approval for a second meeting within the Hut has been requested from the Post.  Additional information will be provided upon approval by the Post.

All skippers are requested to attend one of the in-person meetings.  Special arrangements have been made for skippers who are unable to attend the in-person meeting with a replacement Zoom meeting mid-July.

Attendance is required in order to retain certification and continued use of these ALYC sailboats.   

During this meeting we will discuss policies, procedures, recruitment, and obligations of each skipper. 

In addition, each Skipper is expected to volunteer time and energy to assist with maintenance and cleaning of the sailboats at least one month out of the year. A schedule will be available for each skipper(s) to select a month of his choosing. First come, first serve.
