Coming up this weekend is the 38^th Annual Avalon Underwater Cleanup! The actual event is Saturday February 23^rd. It begins early in the morning so most participants arrive Friday at some point, though the first boats out of Long Beach will get you there in time on Saturday as well.

This event is open to all ALYC members. For the past 4 years the ALYC Dive and Snorkel group has had members participate in this fun and highly beneficial weekend over on Catalina. There are opportunities to assist as divers (if you are certified) and top-side for those that do not scuba. This year again, we will have members over in Avalon participating and having fun together.
