Hello divers, snorkelers, boaters and thrill seekers!

Here’s the hot and cold of it.

We’ll have a cool time by the water when we meet at 4:30 for dinner with the presenter followed by our monthly meeting at 6:30 in the main hall. Order off the menu, stop by for a drink with the group, share a story and have some fun with your friends, dive buddies, or maybe make a new friend and then get ready for a world class presentation by a world class diver.

Water freezes at 32oF, right? Not here! Dive into water that is 28oF… dive into Antarctica! Explore with us as we learn about fish that have antifreeze in their blood to keep them from freezing solid. Descend into holes through 23 feet of solid ice as we study life on Mars. Visit remote islands where you’ll see over 250,000 penguins with a single glance. Reach out to icebergs as they bob up and down in the waves, and wander through shipwrecks frozen in ice and time. Learn how you, too, can visit the most remote continent on Earth… Antarctica!

Our presenter, Jeffrey Bozanic is a technical diving instructor and research scientist.  This is a presentation you won’t want to miss.

Please reserve a seat for this meeting so our folks can have adequate seating arranged for you. ALYC members, remember to wear your name tag, introduce yourself and welcome our guests. We’re always looking for new members! Bring a Vet, bring a friend bring a dive buddy.
