Ahoy Watermen, Sailors, Divers, and Mermaids!
All I can say is… WOW! The tide came in fast, and we completely filled our reservations for the Saturday Night Social nearly three weeks before we cast off! That tells me one thing loud and clear — this crew knows how to throw a fantastic gathering, and our event team has once again charted a winning course.
For those who haven’t secured a berth yet, don’t abandon ship just yet! We’ve received approval from the galley to increase capacity to 90 shipmates. But there’s a small headwind we all need to navigate together — a wedding celebration will also be underway in the main hall on the evening of June 13th. We ask everyone to show patience, understanding, and good seamanship as our outstanding wait staff works hard to serve both festivities.
Here’s how you can help keep the waters smooth:
• If possible, arrive early and enjoy dinner before festivities officially begin at 5:30 PM.
• If you’re planning to enjoy cocktails only, you can help expedite service by visiting the bar directly for your beverages.
• Most importantly, please remember to generously thank our hardworking servers with appropriate gratuities. They always go above and beyond to keep our ship sailing smoothly.
And now for the fun part…
Once dinner, games, socializing, and our 50/50 drawings are complete, the dance deck opens! Arrangements have been made for our in-house DJ to keep the harbor rocking with great music and dancing into the evening.
I can’t wait to see everyone proudly decked out in their finest American flag attire as we celebrate together in true ALYC fashion — with camaraderie, laughter, patriotism, and a little saltwater spirit.
